As you can see (if you’ve been to my blog before), I got a new layout up. I’m having a little trouble trying to get it to render correctly in Internet Exploder though. It looks fine (great actually) in Mozilla. Might be a good time to mention again how much I like Mozilla.
I hope to find some time soon to create a nice graphic for the title, instead of the plain text that’s there.
*UPDATE* I got the main problem with IE fixed, but it still looks much better in Mozilla. The Calendar on the left is quirky in IE, as is the Search box. Everything else looks ok to me. I’ve been hearing that other blogs have been having trouble with IE too, it’s not just me. I look forward to the day when IE is not the dominant browser any more. Netscape was top dog at one time, and since it’s based on Mozilla, I can see it being top dog again some day soon.
Your comment screen also has problems in Internet Explorer. It won’t let me expand it to a size in which I can read the whole line of any comments.
I can’t figure out how to change that, but I did set up the comments window so that the text fits inside the window given so there shouldn’t be a need to scroll over. I’d like to set it up so that it doesn’t have a horizontal scroll bar at all, but I think that if I get rid of it, it will also change the width in the main blog (the black background portions seem to be controlled by the same portion of the script.)
I was only able to check this on Mozilla on the Mac, how does it look on IE?
I’ve updated everything to an even better (IMHO) layout, and so it should be working fine now. Please let me know if you see anything buggy.
