I’ve posted this once before, but Ogre inspired me to do it again.
When you consider road trips, and driving through states to get to other states, I have been to or through all the red ones here:
(Alaska is sort of cheating, I was 6 months old, but technically I’ve been there.)
If you define having at least spent a night in a state as having been there, I’ve only been to these:

or check out these Google Hacks.
So what brought you to Georgia?
I was on a road trip with two friends to go to Fort Myers, Florida for a wedding. It was a bit of a strange route though. We started in Minneapolis, drove to St. Louis, where we spent the night a friend of one of my friend’s (which is why Missouri is red). Then we went from there to South Carolina and stayed with my cousin, whom I hadn’t seen since 1984 (this was in 2003). From there we went to the other friend’s uncle’s place in Macon, Georgia, about an hour south of Atlanta. After that we proceeded on to Fort Myers.
If that wasn’t a crazy enough route to get to Florida, we had to make the route home crazy too. We went around the Gulf coast where we spent a night near Baton Rouge, Louisiana (which is why Louisiana is red). From there we went up to Tulsa, Oklahoma to visit another friend of the guy who’s uncle lived in Macon. Only then did we proceed to take the straightest route home.
