I’m blatantly stealing this from Vox Popoli, but I seriously doubt he’d mind.
“A vote for [insert conservative third-party candidate name here] is a vote for Kerry.”
Ok, Let’s assume that as I walk into the polls, George Bush has 10 votes and John Kerry has 10 votes. I vote for Michael Peroutka. Now Bush still has 10 votes. How many votes does Kerry have? If you answer that he still has only 10 votes, you move to the head of the class.
The “”A vote for X is a vote for Kerry” and Boogie Man arguments are really getting old. What frustrates me most is that rather than fixing our nation’s problems, these arguments only perpetuate them. I am confident that if all Conservative Christians would get together and vote for Peroutka rather than falling for the Boogie Man argument and voting for Bush, Peroutka WOULD win.
