Well, after last night I now know what a home stereo system feels like. I did a sleep study to figure out why nine hours of sleep every night isn’t enough for me. I had more wires attached to me than I care to count.
It didn’t go too bad. I got woken up several times because a wire or two would come loose. They seem to have a good idea why I don’t get any rest, and gave me a CPAP machine to fix the problem. I hope it works, and look forward to giving it a try.
Needless to say, that’s why the normal posts didn’t make it up today. They should resume tomorrow.
Check David Strom’s blog, Our House. He got a CPAP right before the blogger get together at Keegan’s. Good luck with it!
Everyone I know who’s tried the CPAPs absolutely LOVED them! Good luck with it!
Ogre, I’m hoping to become one of those people. After one night with it, it hasn’t turned me around, but I do feel a little better. A few more and maybe I’ll have more energy.
You’re on the net early today. I’m just getting going. I still have to do my hour drive to work. I’m in the Central time zone though.
there are mouthpieces, like athletic mouthguards, with tounge retention ability, that do the same thing as CPAP – keep the back of the tounge from blocking the airway, that you might check out if the CPAP doesn’t work out
